Question:
What is charisma?
How do I practice it?
How do I use it?
What else is there to know about charisma?

Charisma is...
Hello Pontus.
In my belief, "charisma" is something that you naturally have or don't have. It's that energy you bring just by walking into the room. It's that "something" that always attracts people to you. I believe charisma stems from being confident about yourself in ANY environment. Charismatic people seem to have a natural "glow" about them. Unfortunately, in MY opinion, I don't think it is something that can be practiced.
You know if you have it or not. TRUST me. People around you will always tell you. They'll see it. You'll feel it.
My cousin says to me I have my own theme music when I enter a room.
THAT'S charisma!!

Thank you for your comment.
I agree with you that some people have it, some don´t. But, I believe, like with talent, that it can be practiced. I believe it´s got to do with genetics, partly, but upbringing mainly. My firm belief is that confidence, posture, outward-directed attention, rhythmical way of speaking etc. is the key, and that you can, if you didn´t have the "right" parents, practice these things.
Now I answered my own question, but that doesn´t matter. I think it´s an important discussion, since we as actors are so dependent on that quality.
