| Biography: | I moved to America 1995 to marry an American; which is probably the best decision of my life. I am Irish and was raised in London, England. From the age of eleven to sixteeen I attended Aida Foster's School of Dance and Drama, which was also a theatrical agency, and so began my professional acting career. I am experienced in radio, tv, film and theatre. At present I am happily involved in the theatre in Portland OR. My last role was the mother in 'The House of Yes' and prior to that, Nancy in 'Seascape'. I believe in supporting young talent, and so this month I will be acting in two student senior film projects graduating from North West Art Institute; this will be two of six in total so far. I really enjoy working with young people and am very comfortable with them, perhaps having a son of 22yrs helps. I also really enjoy doing new works, whether it be for radio, film or theatre. Meanwhile I am waiting to hear about two parts, one for PCS and the other for ART that I auditioned for. My Agent is Ryan Artist. I am a British Equity Member and am in the throes of deciding whether to join here in America. I am beginning to feel that I should work in the other states, so being a union member would certainly be an asset. I am a seasoned traveller having been to Africa, Australia, all over most of Europe and the Far East, living in Taiwan for a good part of the time. This side of me is certainly feeling deprived and I would like to see more of America. To be able to enjoy working as an actress and to travel as well is certainly my goal. No matter how many years I notch up the 'gypsy in my soul' is as strong as ever. |
