I am open to student films, low-budget and no pay to build my acting resume.

Hi everyone! I live in Southern California and I plan to get my A.A. degree in Musical Theatre.Does it make a difference on what degree I get.I really want to finish all my musical theatre classes at this college. This community college is one of the few that offers this major at a public college and with low tuiton fees.I read the article on the top undergraduate programs by Chad Gracia it inspired me to look further into this and if I should get a B.A. after I get my A.A.I also want to know if a degree gives me a better chance in this industry?
