I'm not new to acting in the sense of knowing stuff about it, but i am very very new at the notion of actually acting in anything. Besides the skits i did in acting class when i was in high school, i've done nothing.Acting has always been a dream of mine, but i've never really had any extra cash for classes or coaching. Im hoping to get a job soon too where i make enough muhlla to afford some classes and such.I'm twenty four and i've come to realize that if i don't start chasing the goals that i've always wanted to reach, i may never get there.

Hey, I'm just entering my senior year in high school and I'm concerned about my future. I know I want to pursue a career in acting, yet I'm unsure whether I should attend college for it or just jump in. I'm already 18 and I feel like I'm running out of time; I haven't done any acting outside of school and I'm afraid that with college the only thing I'd end up doing is putting myself in debt [which is a big concern because I'm not even remotely rich and I doubt I could pay the tuition fees of with waiting tables and whatever money I get from acting].

Acting for Actors

The entire industry is anxious about a potential SAG strike. That is, the entire industry except almost every actor I talk to. I am consistently surprised by how little my fellow actors know about the current state of negotiations between the Screen Actor's Guild (SAG) and the Association of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP). Perhaps it's because there's very little difference between a strike and no strike for most actors - less than 5% of SAG members are employed on sets at any given time.

I'm going to be in a play opening in three weeks!! I'm playing the Hysterical Queen! I'm like so pumped!!!

Bob Fanucchi is a hard-working, dependable and directable actor, based out of the Dallas Texas area. Starting as a model, and then actor in the 70’s, Bob temporarily left the business for a military and public service career that spanned more than 20 years in California. During that time, he was recognized with many awards for his service and hard work.

Have a why for your actions, use heart, mind, and spirit for the choices we make on the set.

Find your why.

I would like to say that I am glad that I have the decision to go into the entertainment industry. Acting is my life, a stress reliever because I let out my emotions, it's a very physical and industrious process forcing me to exercise/workout everyday which keeps my looking good in appearance and feeling good inside, but most of all acting has taught me to become fearless in the business and in real life. I used to be shy but acting has helped to get rid of that in me.

For those who are in the broadcasting or acting field, casting calls are an absolute necessity. It is the process of casting calls that will help you secure the job. The best way to ensure that you are notified of casting calls is to work with a qualified agent who will notify you when casting calls are taking place. Additionally, you’ll find that by joining accredited acting unions you will have access to casting calls as well. However, always perform your research and make sure that the agents and unions that you work with are legitimate and have a good reputation in the business.

I have been doing extra work for 8 years.

What I want to do is direct and produce. I'm also a writer and have a novel available on Amazon. In Search of a Vision, ISBN number 1887895248. I think it would make a good graphic novel or animated film. I'm currently looking for someone with experience in that area. I'm also working on a sequel to In Search of a Vision and another novel as well.
