a MonologueThe first step is to master a few monologues. I recommend you go to a local library or bookstore and sit down with ten or so monologue books. Read through them and find one that you're drawn to. Then buy the book and start practicing. I sell classical (verse) monologues for women here, and tons of other monologue books here. Learn How to Deliver Your Monologue If you're goal is to work in television or film, then Linda Zerne's audio CD, The Audition Coach, is a must. If you're more interested in theater, then I suggest this great little book.
