I'm from Kenya and planing an actor's workshop in Kenya.

It has come to our attention that though there have been many workshops
concerning script writing and directing, there has hardly been any
workshops on actual acting, and though the technical aspect is as much
important, it’s the ability of an actor to tell a story that really moves
the audience and captures their attention.

We would like to award 30 young Actors/Actresses with such a chance in
participating in a workshop that will not only allow them to enhance their
talent, but to also educate them to turning their art into a professional
career. We would teach them how to create professional Resumes and
Portfolios as well as out-standing head shots that would not only be
locally recognized but internationally as well.

It is no secret that the Kenyan Music Industry is far more advanced than
our Film industry but this is a first chance in letting this happen and we
want you to be a part of this happening. We would like to come together in
creating a workshop that will be a step in to making acting a professional
field in Kenya.
