As you know, it's essential to have an agent if you want to work in the entertainment business, as they are about the only ones who can get you paid work in television, film, and theater. Last year, I realized that I needed an agent for a play I had written, and as the process is the same for getting an acting agent, I thought I'd share the story for how I did that.
